Saturday Night Fun: My Genealogical Three's

Randy Seaver over at GeneaMusings has challenged us to yet another night of Saturday Night Fun. We are supposed to answer the following questions:

Three genealogical libraries I frequent
  1. Southwest Louisiana Genealogical Library (Lake Charles, LA)
  2. Bluebonnet Library (Baton Rouge, LA)
  3. St. Clair County Library (Port Huron, MI)
* Three places I've visited on genealogy trips
  1. Port Huron, Michigan
  2. Mulhall, Oklahoma
  3. Scott, Louisiana
* Three genealogy societies I belong to (or want to)
  1. Baton Rouge Genealogical and Historical Society
  2. Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society
  3. St. Clair County Family History Group
* Three websites that help my research
* Three ancestral graves that I've visited
  1. My great-great-great-grandparents: Theoville & Anna (Wise) Trahan - Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery - Scott, Louisiana
  2. My great-great-grandparents: Maurice and Marie Alice (Sonnier) Boneaux - Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery - Scott, Louisiana
  3. My great-grandparents: Archie and Jennie (Plaine) Currie - Omard Cemetery, Brown City, Michigan
* Three ancestral places I want to visit
  1. Port Royal/Beaubassin/Grand Pre, Nova Scotia (Trahan)
  2. Hart County, Kentucky (Welden/Renfro)
  3. Franklin/Jackson/Williamson County, Illinois (Orth/Mertena)
* Three brickwall ancestors I want to research more
  1. John Henry Mertena (c. 1854-c. 1884)
  2. James Currie (c. 1815-?)
  3. Dominique Boneaux (c. 1837-c. 1920)

  1. I didn't realize Lake Charles had such a big library. Sounds like I need to make a visit there!

  2. Small world -- I just added Theoville & Anna Trahan to my tree. I have Trahan cousins from Scott. Will send you an e-mail to compare notes. Enjoying exploring your blog.
